PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
The purpose of these workshops is to create capacity in families and draw upon community funds of knowledge, to inform, support and deepen relationships in a multicultural and multilingual community.
This innovation includes the following 4 modules that develop leadership in families, through lived experiences.
El propósito de estos talleres es el de desarrollar capacidad de liderazgo en las familias y fundamentos de conocimiento, para informar, apoyar y profundizar las relaciones en una comunidad multicultural y Multilingüe.
La innovación incluye los siguientes 4 módulos que desarrolla el liderazgo en las familias, a través de las experiencias vividas.
Module 1: Parent Workshop, Multilingual California Project (MCAP)
Módulo 1: Taller para Padres, Proyecto Multilingüe de California (MCAP)
Module 2: Distance Learning and Socio-Emotional Practices for 2021-22 School Year
In this workshop you will learn tools for the return to class 2021-22 virtually or in person and some tips on the socio-emotional part.
Módulo 2: Aprendizaje a distancia y el manejo socio emocional para el regreso a clases 2021-22
En este taller usted aprenderá herramientas para el regreso a clase 2021-22 de forma virtual o presencial y algunos tips sobre la parte socioemocional.
Module 3: EL Roadmap Policy
In this workshop you will learn about the California EL RoadMap policy and the four principles that guide English learners to better access high levels of English proficiency and the importance of developing skills in multiple languages..
Módulo 3: Módulo 3: El Modelo Educativo para Aprendices de Ingles en California: “EL Roadmap Policy
En este taller usted aprenderá sobre el modelo educativo para aprendices de inglés y sobre los cuatro principios que guían Los aprendices de inglés a que tengan mejor acceso a altos niveles de competencia en inglés y la importancia de desarrollar destrezas en varios idiomas.
Module 4: Multilingualism and Multiliteracy
In this workshop, participants will learn about the concepts of multiculturalism and multilingualism and recognize their value. Participants will better understand the impact of cultural diversity on their development as community leaders and learn how to strengthen their relationships, especially with people from different backgrounds.
Módulo 4:
En este taller, los participantes conocerán los conceptos de multiculturalidad y multilingüismo y reconocerán su valor. Los participantes lograrán comprender mejor el impacto de la diversidad cultural en su desarrollo como líderes comunitarios y aprenderán a fortalecer sus relaciones, especialmente con personas de diferentes orígenes.
